Chaperone Policy

Some riders may require a chaperone to safely enjoy Nickelodeon Universe®.

A chaperone is defined as a person who is qualified to ride and who, in the opinion of the ride operator, is capable of controlling the actions of the unqualified rider. One chaperone required per rider. Certain restrictions apply. See Rider Safety Guide for complete information.

A chaperone may ride FREE with a child UNDER 36 Inches tall on the following rides:

La Aventura de Azul
Big Rigs
Blue’s Skidoo

A chaperone may ride FREE with a child UNDER 42 Inches tall on the following rides:

Back at the Barnyard Hayride
Backyardigans Swing-Along
Balloon Race
Carousel
Diego’s Rescue Rider
El Circulo del Cielo
Ghost Blasters
Swiper’s Sweeper

The following rides have specific requirements for chaperones and riders:
Fairly Odd Coaster (chaperone may ride free with a child 43 – 47″ tall)
Log Chute (chaperone may ride free with a child 36 – 47″ tall)
Crazy Cars (chaperone may ride free with a child 42 – 48″ tall)
Pepsi® Orange Streak (chaperone may ride free with a child 42 – 47″ tall)
